Public Hearings Regarding Mobile Food Vendors in Mercer Street Historic District

The City will be holding public hearings regarding Mobile Food Vendors in Mercer Street Historic District.

 

The Historic Preservation Commission (April 1, 2021 at 4:00pm), the Planning and Zoning Commission (April 27, 2021 at 6:30pm), and the City Council (May 11, 2021 at 6:00pm) will be considering potential changes to Mobile Food Vendors on Mercer Street Historic District and the process for approval of Certificates of Appropriateness. The public may participate by Zoom by finding links on our agenda page at City Meeting Agendas or by emailing public comments to planning@cityofdrippingsprings.com

Public Hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. on April 27, 2021 and at 6:00 p.m. on May 11, 2021 at the City Council meeting at Dripping Springs City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas, to consider a Zoning Amendment that would modify the procedure for denial of certificates of appropriates under Chapter 30, Exhibit A Zoning Ordinance, Section 4, Division 2: Historic Preservation and regulations of mobile food vendors in the Mercer Street Historic District in Chapter 30, Article 30.05 Mobile Food Vendors and Chapter 30, Exhibit A Zoning Ordinance, Section 4, Division 2: Historic Preservation. 


When City Hall is open, the proposed zoning amendment application as initiated by the Planning and Zoning Commission is available for viewing at Dripping Springs City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, during regular business hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If City Hall is closed to visitors during this period, you can request review of any documents by emailing planning@cityofdrippingsprings.com. If City Hall is closed to visitors on the day of the meeting, or the meeting is virtual for another reason, the City will post this information on its website at cityofdrippingsprings.com so that the public may have access to the meeting. Comments regarding this project may be emailed to planning@cityofdrippingsprings.com  or mailed to PO Box 384, Dripping Springs, TX 78620.  Comments received by March 19, 2021 will be included in agenda packets for the meetings.
