PUBLIC NOTICE OF FULL PURPOSE ANNEXATION, PUBLIC HEARINGS #1 AND #, FOR 3.188 ACRES OUT OF THE B.F. HANNA SURVEY (2790 U.S. HWY 290 W)

LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under the provisions of Chapter 43 of the Texas Local Government Code that the City of Dripping Springs will hold public hearings during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on November 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. (Hearing #1) and on November 21, 2017 at 6:05 p.m. (Hearing #2) for the purpose of receiving public comments on the proposed initiation of voluntary annexation proceedings for the tract commonly known as 2790 U.S. Hwy 290 W., and generally described as follows:

3.188 acres of land out of the B.F. Hanna Survey in Hays County, Texas, being that same property described in a deed to Artis W. Wilkerson and wife, Irene Wilkerson by deed of records in Volume 299, Page 326, Deed Records of Hays County, Texas.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SITE DEVELOPMENT

The City of Dripping Springs is considering administrative approval of a site development permit application for the Darden Hill Storage, 9900 Darden Hill Road for the construction of a climatized storage facility. This site development permit application is scheduled to be administratively approved on December 13, 2017 after the review of the site development permit application and allowing time for consideration of public comments. NOTICE OF RATE CHANGE

The City of Dripping Springs has not increased rates for wastewater service for approximately 9 years.  Notwithstanding, by Ordinance No. 1720.13, which was passed and became effective on October 10, 2017, the City Council determined that a 5% increase in rates would be fair, just, and reasonable.  The only changes in the rates are that (1) the minimum usage charge per LUE has changed from $25.00 to $26.25 and (2) the gallonage charge has changed from $3.50 to $3.68 per 1,000 gallons.  If additional information is desired, you may contact  Sarah Holden, Utility & Building Permit Technician (sholden@cityofdrippingsprings.com) 511 Mercer Street, P O Box 384, Dripping Springs, TX 78620, Ph: 512-858-4725.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR ZONING AMENDMENT

Public hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on February 28, 2017 and at the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on March 21, 2017 at Dripping Springs City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas, to consider the approval of zoning amendments from Agriculture District (AG) to Multiple-Family Residential District (MF) for Lot 2, Lot 3, and Lot 4 of the Springs Subdivision, out of the B.F. LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under the provisions of Chapter 43 of the Texas Local Government Code that the City of Dripping Springs will hold public hearings during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on January 17, 2017 at 6:00pm (Hearing # 1) and on January 17, 2017 at 6:30pm. (Hearing # 2) for the purpose of receiving public comments on the proposed initiation of voluntary annexation proceedings for the tracts commonly known as Blue Blazes, and generally described as 35.022 Acres (Within the Vista Ranch Subdivision) out of the William Walker Survey No. 130, Abstract No. 475, in the Official Public Records of Hays County, Texas, including all of Lots A-1, A-2, and A-3 of the Replat of Tract A, Vista Ranch, a subdivision of Hays County, Texas, according to the plat of record in Volume 14, Pages 12 and 13, Plat Records of Hays County, Texas on request of landowners.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF FULL PURPOSE ANNEXATION, PUBLIC HEARINGS #1 and #2, FOR 2.305 ACRES (Within the Vista Ranch Subdivision

LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under the provisions of Chapter 43 of the Texas Local Government Code that the City of Dripping Springs will hold public hearings during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on January 17, 2017 at 6:00pm (Hearing # 1) and on January 17, 2017 at 6:30pm. (Hearing # 2) for the purpose of receiving public comments on the proposed initiation of voluntary annexation proceedings for a tract of land offered to the City of Dripping Springs pursuant to the Blue Blazes Development Agreement, and generally described as 2.305 Acres (Within the Vista Ranch Subdivision) out of the William Walker Survey No. 130, Abstract No. 475, in the Official Public Records of Hays County, Texas, being a portion of Tract A-3, Replat of Tract A, Vista Ranch, a subdivision of Hays County, Texas, according to the plat of record in Volume 14, Pages 11 and 12, Plat Records of Hays County, Texas, by initiation of the City of Dripping Springs.

A description of the property, including a map, is available for inspection at Dripping Springs City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A Municipal Services Plan for the tract will be available at the public hearings and copies will be available for inspection. After the two (2) required public hearings, the City Council will consider an ordinance for the annexation at their February 15, 2017 City Council meeting. PUBLIC NOTICE FOR AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE

The City of Drippings Springs will conduct a public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission on January 24, 2017, and a public hearing before the City Council on February 15, 2017 giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard regarding an amendment to Chapter 30, Exhibit A: Zoning Ordinance, Section 2.35, of the City’s Code of Ordinances, to add procedure for Planning and Zoning Commission reconsideration of denied application for zoning change. Both public hearings will take place at 7:00 P.M. at City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas 78620.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION

Public hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on January 24, 2017 and at the Board of Adjustment meeting at 7:00 p.m. on February 15, 2017 at Dripping Springs City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas, to consider the approval of a Special Exception Application from the Dripping Springs Code of Ordinance, Chapter 30, Exhibit A- “Zoning Ordinance,” Section 3.6.5(a) to allow the use of a Manufactured House for residential purposes at 201 Creek Road in Dripping Springs, which is zoned Two-Family Residential-Duplex ( SF-4). Action may be taken by the Board of Adjustment following the public hearing. The project file is available for viewing at City Hall, 511 Mercer Street during regular business hours.
