Welcome!

The People & Communications Department oversees employee engagement, culture, and internal communications and also external marketing and communications for the City. We also oversee the Dripping Springs Tourism Bureau. We work with the City Council and the City Leaders to develop and implement the City's strategic people/HR plans, our strategic communications and marketing plans, and the economic development of the City through visitors and tourism.

On the Communications Side:

• Press relations, public and media relations and activities

• Public information sharing on major news events affecting the City

• Overseeing the City's social media channels

• Creation and content management on the City's websites

• Marketing and promotions for the City

• Branding guidelines for all City projects & services

• Actively promote City projects, events, programs, and initiatives

On the Visitors Bureau Side:

• The mission of the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau is to promote tourism and serve as ambassadors to connect visitors-guests and the community.

• For visitors, the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau provides informative maps, brochures and literature that guide you toward getting the most out of your visit to Dripping Springs, Texas.

Media Requests

The People & Communications Department is the point of contact for all media requests. We foster positive relationships with local and national media and provide timely and responsive information to media inquiries.
