Vendor Application, Resources, and FM Rules
Want to become a vendor? Here is the information you need along with some important resources!
Thank you for your interest in joining the Dripping Springs Farmers Market as a vendor!
The city-run market is managed by an eight-member Committee (FMC) which meets once monthly to review new applications. New applicants are encouraged to attend reviews to meet the Committee and give two-minute presentations of their brands. When submitting an application, ensure that all applicable licenses and permits are included.
Fees:
- New Application: $30
- Yearly Membership (paid after applicant’s approval): $40
- Application Update, if any changes to products: $20
- Weekly booth space rental varies by category. Categories are assigned by FMC.
- Farmers (Produce) -- $22
- Ranchers -- $25
- Prepared Foods -- $30
- Crafts -- $28
Application Checklist:
- Completed and signed Vendor Application (beta)
- $30 Vendor Application Fee (non-refundable). Only credit card payments accepted.
- Important Market Rules signed by each salesperson
- Current copies of all necessary licenses and permits (see below for specifics)
- Before submitting an application and payment, make sure to contact the Market Manager at 512.750.5942 or farmersmarket@cityofdrippingsprings.com.
- Before submitting an application, make sure you're familiar with the Market Rules.
Have these items ready before filling application:
Farmers (Produce, Floral):
- Organic Certification if labeling produce as "Organic."
- Copy of Nursery/Floral License, if applicable.
Ranchers (Meat, Poultry, Dairy, Seafood, Honey):
- Image of processing facility permit stamp for each item to be sold at market.
- Image of product label showing compliance with TX DSHS requirements.
- Organic Certification if labeling products as "Organic."
Prepared Foods & Beverages:
- TABC Server Certification (for alcohol sales).
- If producing under TX Cottage Foods Law, images of product labels showing compliance.
- If not producing under TX Cottage Foods, image of Certified Kitchen Inspection.
- For serving and sampling of foods at market, an image of TX Food Handler or Food Manager Certificate will be needed.
- If selling drinks to be consumed at market, a TX Sales Tax Permit will be needed.
Crafts & Services (including any merchandise):
- Image of TX Sales Tax Permit
