Welcome to the City of Dripping Springs, Texas, the “Gateway to the Hill Country”.

Dripping Springs lies in the beautiful Texas Hill Country about 25 miles west of Austin, the state capital. This beautiful Hill Country town offers majestic views, abundant wildlife, rolling hills, and rock bottom creeks.

The Dripping Springs population, within its city limit, is about 1,500 although its extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) is home to nearly 20,000. The city offers an exceptional school system, affordable living, and proximity to Austin and San Antonio.

THE CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS, TEXAS ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY .0125 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000.00 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $ 10.00.
