    Planning & Building Positions

    Planner/Senior Planner - Full-time, Exempt

    Pay Range: $50,000 - $86,000 annually
    Accepting applications for Planner or Senior Planner.  Under general supervision of the Planning Director, the Planner or Senior Planner performs routine and complex work related to planning, zoning, and historic preservation permit review, code compliance, and technical work in the administration of municipal government. Duties involve processing/reviewing development application submittals; facilitating use of permitting software; assisting with coordination of development applications; organizing and coordinating meetings with City staff, the public, and developers; performing reviews of various zoning and historic preservation applications, site plans, plats, and some building permits; attending various Boards and Commission meetings; providing general administrative support to the Planning and Development Department; and other duties as may be assigned. See the complete job description below for more details. The job application can be filled out electronically.       Building Permit Technician - Full-time, Non-Exempt

      Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 An Hour
      Receives and processes Residential Building Permit applications; issues Residential Building Permits and Certificates of Occupancy; and processes Contractor Registrations. Assists in processing Commercial Permit applications. Assists in coordinating permit reviews with other city departments and agencies.       Administrative Assistant/Grant Administrator - Full-time, Non-exempt

      Pay Range: $22.50 - $25.00 hourly
      The Administrative Assistant/Grant Administrator performs general administrative and clerical assistance to the Public Works Department related to the development and coordination of the department’s daily operations and various activities. Analyzes, conducts, and coordinates assigned grant and special projects, and acts as project manager on assigned grant and special programs.       Maintenance Worker I - Full-time, Non-exempt

      Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 hourly
