Filing Period Opens for City Council Elections

DRIPPING SPRINGS, TEXAS – Candidate filing begins Wednesday, January 18, 2023, for Place 1, Place 3 and Place 5 for the May 6, 2023, Municipal General Election. 

Applications for placement on the ballot for Place 1, Place 3 and Place 5 can be picked up at City Hall during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through February 14, 2023. Applications may be requested by mail and are available for download on the City website: www.cityofdrippingsprings.com.  Applications may also be downloaded from the Secretary of State website: www.sos.state.tx.us.

Completed applications may be turned in beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023, through 5:00 p.m., February 17, 2023, to the City Secretary’s office. Applications may be mailed in but must be postmarked by February 17, 2023.
