Pride Month Proclamation by City Council

At the City Council meeting this week, the City proclaimed June as Pride Month. Inclusion is vital to achieve true unity, and the City is committed to promoting visibility, dignity, and equality for all LGBTQ+ people in our community.

On hand to accept the proclamation was Elizabeth Alaniz from the organization, “Dripping Springs Community Empowering Positive Change,” shown here (on the left) with Mayor Pro Tem Taline Manassian.

During the upcoming month of June and throughout the year, the City Council invites everyone to reflect on ways we all can live and work together with a commitment to cultivate respect, compassion, and understanding within our community.
